Garfield L. Miller is an award-winning filmmaker with more than two decades of experience as a producer, writer, story editor, and director in documentary and scripted film and television.

His credits include writing and producing the dramatic feature Percy vs. Goliath, starring Christopher Walken, Christina Ricci, and Zach Braff; serving as Supervising Story Producer on the documentary series Sampled (Paramount+); Senior Story Producer on Fight or Flight (Discovery+); and writing and story editing for series including The Devil You Know (Vice), Dark Side of the 90s (Vice), This Is Pop (Netflix), Cyberwar (Vice), and Dead Set On Life (Vice). His scripted work also includes the Netflix/Syfy drama Bitten and the feature film A Stone’s Throw. He is currently Senior Story Editor on a three-part Amazon documentary series examining the Robert Pickton case.

He previously wrote and produced the documentary The Fires That Burn, which was nominated for a Gemini Award and won both the Silver Chris Award and the Wilbur Award. His directorial debut, The Last New Year, premiered as the Canadian Gala film at the Victoria Film Festival. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University.
